The Business Winning Business Project

Business Winning Business (BWB) is a project being conducted by St Helens Chamber that is intended to increase the level of business conducted with St Helens based companies. The project seeks to accomplish this by increasing the overall operational effectiveness of SMEs in the region through the use of technology, the provision of training for staff and assistance in attaining industry approved standards that will open the doors to winning larger contracts from buyers in the region.

The BWB site will assist SMEs by providing an online prequalification service and a point whereby business opportunities received through the Chamber and its information sources can be distributed more effectively and openly to the supplier community. Future developments on the site will provide a fully automated tender alerting system which will level the playing field for suppliers in learning of business opportunities and also make it easier for buyers to effectively communicate their procurement requirements.

The project is funded by the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI)
